Jenna is getting down at Chuck E. Cheese

I am sleeping. Ok, I am not, because I heard the door at the time I thought Jenna would be be coming in. But then I heard the dog and knew my dad must be in town. He has had the dog since December. Sammie has loved living in the country with my dad and my 90 year old grandmother. Just one more change we've all had to make. But I don't have time for anything extra, and she is in good hands. I mean, I keep forgetting to feed the cats...But they're fine.  And, they can't go live in the country, who'd keep my face warm while I am sleeping?


So, Jenna is at Chuck E. Cheese having a blast. I guess she chose to go there instead of coming to boring home. And then Mark will have to take her back to Our Children's House. I hope she doesn't cry. At least I don't have to be there to see it. Because, I'll be asleep. Really, one more night of working, then I get to hang with my baby.

We are staying for 2 more weeks!! Yay!!

We are for sure staying until Feb 15th. We haven't really told Jenna. But she'll be fine. I am planning on bribing her with swimming. We are on for bone marrow biopsy, and Lumbar Puncture on Tuesday. Hopefully they will have the results about the time we leave Our Children's House. More waiting. I really want to bring her home, but it is best for her now to be here getting as much therapy as possible. She's doing great and continues to improve everyday.

Jenna's team decided she could really benefit from 2 more weeks of therapy. We have a new discharge date of the 15th. I hope insurance will go for it. She will get e-stim and continue with the pool therapy and her regular therapies too. She went to the aquarium today. I bet she is tired this afternoon, since she got up at 5AM. She probably fell asleep on the van on the way back if I was to guess.

Conversion

So, I started Jenna's Facebook page to help keep people updated, and to have a place for other families go if they need to see what we went through. Hmm. it didn't occur to me they'd have to go WAY back to see what all they had missed. Therefore, I am converting. I will still keep FB up to date, but I'd really like to update here too. And make it easy... We'll see.
